Formación

• Professional degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Credit Management and Credit Risk.
• Experience with internal financial systems, particularly ACON.
• Proven people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• B2+ English level is essential.

Lead the Credit Control function, ensuring effective credit risk management, compliance with financial policies, and timely escalation of critical exposures across the North American market. In this role, you will lead the Credit Control team while ensuring credit decisions support both financial risk management and business continuity.

How you create impact

• Lead Credit Control operations: Supervise the team, ensuring credit control activities, pending cases, releases, and escalations are managed accurately and in line with financial policies.
• Manage credit limits and exposure: Analyze credit limits, unsecured exposures, and credit-related risks, identifying opportunities to optimize available credit lines while maintaining appropriate risk controls.
• Understand the business impact of credit: Assess how credit limits and credit decisions can affect shipments and business operations, ensuring timely communication and escalation when a credit issue may impact a load.
• Support the North American market: Manage credit-related activities for North America, working closely with relevant stakeholders and applying knowledge of internal systems and credit processes.
• Lead and develop the team: Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Credit Control Specialists while fostering effective communication, collaboration, and a high-performance team culture.

What we would like you to bring

• Professional degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Credit Risk.
• Strong knowledge of Credit Management and Credit Risk, including how credit limits work, how credit lines can be optimized, and how credit decisions can impact business operations and shipments.
• Experience working with internal financial systems, particularly ACON, and the ability to understand and navigate credit-related processes and information.
• Proven people leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the Credit team and elevate relevant situations when required.
• B2+ English level is essential, combined with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
