CBTW, a global technology group, is hiring an experienced Java Developer in Bogotá. You will design, develop and deploy Java applications, with strong Spring expertise and full lifecycle involvement.

You will build scalable, secure solutions, implement tests, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust software. You should have 5+ years in Java, Spring, CI/CD, and cloud experience, plus solid knowledge of Hibernate, microservices, and modern DevOps practices.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• 5+ years of experience with Spring framework (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security).
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Jenkins or Concourse.
• Design, development and testing of RESTful services and Java EE apps.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
• Familiarity with OAuth2, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.
• Solid OOP fundamentals and Gitflow workflow.

Responsibilities

What will you do ?

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using Java.
• Strong expertise in frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc.
• Actively participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
• Develop efficient and scalable technical solutions while ensuring code quality and security.
• Conduct unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and adapt to changes.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements.

Qualifications

Who are you ?

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Advanced English Level Required .
• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• 5+ years of experience with Spring framework (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, etc).
• 5+ years of experience in CI/CD pipelines, including technologies such as Docker, Jenkins/Concourse.
• Ability to write well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Experience in implementing RESTful web services.
• Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Experience with Oauth2
• Solid understanding of Hibernate and micro-services.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented principles.
• Understanding of Gitflow workflow.
• Experience with JBoss application server.
• Experience with Maven.
• Experience with Java Messaging.
• Extensive knowledge of API development.
• Experience using code management and collaboration tools, such as Bitbucket.
• Experience working in an agile environment, using Jira.
