Overview

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional Java development (including legacy systems & Java EE).
• 2+ years of professional experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework
• Expertise in REST API consumption and debugging.
• Experience with JBoss/Apache application servers.
• Advanced skills with Oracle DB.
• Strong debugging and triage capabilities in production environments.
• Linux basics and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and New Relic.
• Conversational English is a requirement, as you will be working directly with US - based clients.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Triage and resolve tickets from the incident queue.
• Monitor system alerts and respond to incidents.
• Participate in control callouts and outage response.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to system reliability improvements.
• Debug backend processes and troubleshoot REST API integrations.
• Collaborate in an Agile, team-oriented environment.
• Maintain documentation throughout the SDLC.
