CBTW is seeking a Java Tech Lead to design and deliver high-performance, low-latency web applications. You will drive development, lead architecture decisions, and mentor teams to improve software engineering practices. Strong Java and Spring experience is essential.

Ideal candidates have extensive RESTful service experience, cloud familiarity (AWS), and a track record of building scalable microservices in an Agile setup.

Formación

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.
• Advanced English level required.
• 7+ years of Java experience.
• Spring framework experience (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security).
• Expert in RESTful web services design.

What we are looking for

As part of our development team, the Java Tech Lead will be responsible for designing and creating high-performance, low-latency applications for vital systems, ensuring optimal availability. This role involves aiding in the development and upkeep of web-based applications, as well as advancing our overall software engineering proficiency. The ideal Java Tech Lead should possess extensive experience in web application development.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Advanced English Level Required.
• +7 years of experience in Java.
• Proficiency in Java and Enterprise Java technologies and development
• +4 years of experience in the Spring framework (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, etc)
• Expert in designing and implementing RESTful web services
• Experience with responsive frameworks like bootstrap and FlexLayout
• Experience with Lighthouse PWA Analysis Tool
• Expert building web applications from the ground up
• +2 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines; including technologies such as Docker, Jenkins/Concourse
• Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS
• Agile (scrum) based delivery practices, test driven development, test automation, and continuous delivery
• Solid understanding of object-oriented principles
• Demonstrated success in building design patterns and software engineering best practices
• Solid understanding of hibernate
• Solid Understanding of microservices
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and NoSQL
• Experience with JBoss application server
• Experience with Java Messaging
• Have at least one skill outside of programming, like monitoring, performance optimization, documentation, integration testing, visual design.
• Understanding of gitflow workflow
