WSP Canada in Dartmouth (Nova Scotia) seeks an experienced Intermediate Transportation Designer to plan and design roadway, intersection, roundabout, and active transportation projects for municipal, provincial, and private clients.

You will prepare drawings, design briefs, and cost estimates, applying standards and sound engineering judgement to create practical, constructible solutions. Collaboration with stakeholders and mentoring junior staff are key aspects.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering with focus on transportation engineering or municipal infrastructure.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer or eligible for P.Eng designation.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in transportation engineering and design.
• Strong knowledge of roadway, intersection, roundabout, and active transportation design.

Responsabilidades

• Support and lead components of transportation design assignments including roadways, intersections, roundabouts, and active transportation.
• Prepare and review design drawings, briefs, memos, quantities, and estimates.
• Apply design standards and sound engineering judgment to deliver practical solutions.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, and internal teams to support project delivery.
• Provide technical direction to junior staff and designers.
