Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Compliance & Ethics Lead for Colombia and Peru to strengthen the integrity and ethics program across markets, partnering with regional leadership to embed risk-based guidance in day-to-day business operations.

You will develop annual work plans, identify and mitigate risks, and coordinate with Legal and other functions to support market operations while escalating significant issues through established governance channels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Compliance & Ethics experience in a highly regulated industry.
• Compliance and Ethics experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience. A professional qualification in compliance, law, accounting, audit, risk management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Demonstrated behaviors consistent with BMS values Integrity, Innovation, Inclusion, Passion, Accountability, and Urgency.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and assess compliance risks and provide practical, risk-based guidance to business and functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Promote integrity and ethical culture across Colombia and Peru.
• Develop and execute annual Compliance & Ethics work plan for Colombia and Peru.
• Serve as day-to-day Compliance & Ethics partner for the supported markets with guidance from leadership.
• Identify, assess, and elevate potential compliance risks and coordinate mitigation with stakeholders.
• Drive local implementation of BMS global Compliance & Ethics programs, initiatives, systems, processes, and controls.
• Co-chair the Compliance Committees of Colombia and Peru together with the General Manager.
• Provide compliance oversight related to procedures, education, training, monitoring, and analytics.
