Job summary

Digital Resource is seeking an Integration Specialist to connect enterprise applications that support client reporting platforms. You will design SQL queries, manage CSV transfers, and develop API integrations to enable seamless data exchange across complex systems.

The role is fully remote and reports to Tech Ops. Ideal candidates have a CS degree (or equivalent), 2+ years in integration roles, and experience with Google Cloud, REST/SOAP/GraphQL, Postman or Insomnia, and Basecamp for project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar role.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for ETL.
• CSV file manipulation, data parsing and transformation.
• Experience with API integrations and tools (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
• Experience with cloud providers, preferably Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Basecamp for project management is a plus.

Job description

We're looking for an Integration Specialist to focus on integrating enterprise applications used to maintain and update our client reporting platforms. This position enhances business processes by seamlessly connecting various systems through SQL queries, CSV file transfers, and API integrations. This specialist must exhibit a solid technical background, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for streamlining data flow across complex enterprise environments.

This role will join the Tech Ops Team within our marketing agency and report directly to the Tech Ops Manager. This is a fully remote role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement SQL queries to extract data from multiple source systems, ensuring data accuracy and optimal performance.
• Create and manage efficient CSV file transfer processes that move data between various systems while maintaining data integrity and security.
• Build, test, and maintain API integrations to facilitate real-time data exchange between various applications and platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring smooth data flow and uninterrupted business processes.
• Assist with developing documentation for integration processes, including technical specifications (if needed), data mapping, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor ongoing integration performance and proactively address any performance bottlenecks or issues that may arise.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to application integration, data management, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - OR equivalent experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Hands-on experience with CSV file manipulation, data parsing, and transformation techniques
• Basic programming skills are a plus (e.g., Python, Java, or others used for API development)
• Experience with API integration tools and frameworks (e.g., REST, SOAP, GraphQL, Postman, Insomnia, etc.)
• Experience developing applications using Cloud providers, preferably Google Cloud. (e.g., building VM, data warehouse, data ingestion, etc.)
• Understanding of project management fundamentals. Experience with Basecamp is a plus.
