Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to support and evolve a distributed insurance policy administration application with a global team.

You will investigate production issues, shape clear requirements, and guide delivery through strong documentation and collaboration. You will lead complex issue investigations, triage incidents with the core team, and create epics, features, and user stories in Azure DevOps for advanced functionality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business analysis experience in insurance-focused systems.
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience.
• Advanced requirements elicitation and estimation skills.
• Strong documentation analysis skills and ability to produce clear artifacts.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+).
• Experience in creating epics, features, and user stories in Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation of complex production issues and define actionable next steps.
• Triage and coordinate resolution of production incidents with the core team.
• Create epics, features, and user stories in Azure DevOps for complex functionality.
• Define and document user requirements and solution approaches based on analysis.
• Support configuration activities across rating, UI, error messages, and document prototypes.
• Maintain a shared knowledge repository to capture knowledge transfer outcomes and processes.
• Liaise with business users, vendor analysts, and developers to align on requirements and decisions.
