Job summary

Mariana Minerals is seeking a Maintenance Technician, Mechanical to support safe, reliable operation of process and utility equipment at Lithium One in Joaquin, TX. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, conveyors, and other rotating equipment while contributing to ongoing maintenance program development.

The role requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, a technical/ trade school background, and the ability to read P&IDs and schematics.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience on pumps, motors, valves, and rotating equipment.
• Experience in oil & gas, water treatment, chemical processing, or similar settings preferred.
• Ability to read P&IDs, schematics, blueprints and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, conveyors, blowers, and compressors.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root cause and repair promptly.
• Maintain production by minimizing downtime and following manufacturer specs.
• Inspect, calibrate, lubricate, and document equipment condition in CMMS.
• Read P&IDs and blueprints, requisition parts, log work and parts used.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and electrical/controls techs for start-up and shutdowns.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
