Alonso & Alonso Attorneys at Law seeks a Removal Paralegal to support immigration matters remotely across Colombia and Latin America. You will research policy updates, draft and proofread legal documents, and prepare discovery responses while coordinating client meetings and maintaining case materials for attorney review.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with case management software and MS Office in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in immigration law.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interviewing skills.
• Close attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Research and analyze updates in immigration policies and regulations.
• Draft and proofread legal documents, including cover letters, immigration forms, and client declarations.
• Prepare discovery responses, review objections, and collect documents from clients.
• Organize and prepare case materials for attorney review and hearings.
• Schedule and coordinate client meetings, both in person and by phone.
• Communicate with USCIS and deportation officers to follow up on case statuses and pending requests.
