ScotiaGBS Colombia del grupo Scotiabank is seeking an IB Accounting Analyst to support journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis. You will generate financial reports, analyze discrepancies, and suggest effective resolutions while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Collaboration with team members is essential for delivering accurate financial statements. The role emphasizes Excel proficiency, strong communication, and teamwork in a dynamic, multicultural environment

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Finance related, or Business Administration.
• 1–2 years of experience in similar roles.
• Experience with computerized ledger systems; Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Processes and/or performs journal entries/reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Generates financial reports and statements.
• Analyzes financial discrepancies and recommends resolutions.
• Prepares and records financial transactions according to policy and regulations.
• Attends team meetings and identifies process improvements.

What will you do?

• Processes and/or performs journal entries/reconciliations and variance analysis, as required
• Generate financial reports and statements
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
• Prepared and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations
• Attend meetings as required by team leaders.
• Identify process improvement opportunities for the team
• Keep Desktop Training Procedures (DTP) documents for relevant processes up to date.

What do you need?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Finance related, or Business Administration
• 1 -2 years of experience in similar roles.
