AECOM Bogota is seeking a Principal Engineer - Security & Controls for data centers. You will lead I&C and OT systems design, governance, and delivery across global projects, focusing on high-availability SCADA, PLC/DCS, EPMS, and BMS architectures.

The role requires extensive experience with control architectures, industrial networks, cybersecurity, and risk management, guiding multi-disciplinary teams, defining standards, and ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Industrial Automation, SCADA, PLC/DCS, and OT/IT systems.
• Advanced English level (B2).
• Proven design experience for mission-critical facilities and data centers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for engineering drawings and BIM coordination.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as technical authority for I&C and OT systems on critical data center projects.
• Lead design reviews, establish standards, and drive major technical decisions.
• Develop design criteria, I/O lists, control narratives, and sequences of operation.
• Plan FAT/SAT, commissioning, and integrated systems testing activities.
• Manage security, resilience, and cybersecurity risks within OT/IT networks.
• Define high-availability architectures for SCADA, PLC/DCS, EPMS, and BMS.
• Integrate BMS, DCIM, SCADA, HMIs, and field devices for critical infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with ISA/IEC 62443, NIST 800-82, and electrical safety codes.
