Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Quality Engineer to assure products conform to established requirements through audits, inspections and testing. You will interact with multiple departments and suppliers to achieve quality goals.

The role requires a CQE or equivalent engineering background, at least 1 year of experience, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering or equivalent with CQE certification.
• Minimum 1 year relevant work experience.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and medical device experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulates procedures, specifications, and standards for Zimmer products and processes.
• Develops and implements corrective/preventive action plans.
• Collects and analyzes data for gauge and product evaluation.
• Identifies critical personnel, gauges, procedures, and materials needed for new products.
• Ensures suppliers have information and facilities to deliver quality products.
