Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure products meet established requirements through audits, inspections, and testing. The role interfaces with multiple departments, suppliers, and external experts to drive quality goals.

The ideal candidate will hold a B.S. in engineering with CQE certification, have at least 1 year of relevant experience, and preferably experience in the medical devices orthopedic sector. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering or equivalent with CQE certification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• CQE and medical device (orthopedic) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulates procedures, specifications, and standards for Zimmer products and processes.
• Develops and implements corrective/preventative action plans.
• Collects and analyzes data for gauge and product evaluation.
• Identifies key personnel, gauges, procedures, and materials needed for new products.
• Ensures suppliers have necessary information and facilities to deliver quality products.

Your Background

Education/Experience Requirements

• B.S. in engineering or an alternative Bachelor’s degree program with certification as a quality engineer (e.g. CQE).
• Minimum 1 Year Of Relevant Work Experience.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Medical device, particularly Orthopedic industry, experience preferred
