ScotiaTech is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support ETL development for the English Caribbean region. You will design and maintain IBM DataStage jobs, ensure data quality, and integrate diverse sources into the Enterprise Data Lake/EDL.

The role requires 3–5 years in data engineering, SQL proficiency, and agile collaboration. Hybrid office-based work in Bogotá is offered with focus on regulatory reporting and data governance.

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or ETL developer.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• Strong IBM DataStage ETL experience is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in full lifecycle of ETL development and maintenance.
• Design, develop, and maintain IBM DataStage ETL jobs.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability of data pipelines.
• Dashboards and reports generation for regulatory needs.
• Collaborate in an agile team and share best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex ETL, data quality and integration issues.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
• Adhere to risk, compliance and conduct standards.
