Johnson & Johnson Global Services in Bogotá is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee Controllership work for Abiomed and V-Wave in North America, with global scope including NA and OUS. You’ll own the actuals, coordinate end-to-end accounting, and drive BRAVO reporting and SOX-compliant processes, partnering with BU Finance, FPA, and Compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence finance decisions while embracing new technologies.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) required.
• CPA, CMA, MBA or related certification preferred.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, TM1 and Bravo.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Account-to-Report experience with consolidations, balance sheet reconciliations, pre/post-close communications, audit requests.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Open to new ideas, rapid change, and embrace new technologies.
• Understanding of AI concepts and prompts to boost efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and facilitate financial statement reviews for Commercial Finance leadership.
• Lead close coordination for NAM Abiomed through pre-close meetings.
• Analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Facilitate BRAVO review and approval with commentary and analysis.
• Lead presentation of Global Balance Sheet, CapEx, and Cash Flow to Abiomed Finance Leadership.
• Ensure Actuals submissions comply with SOX controls and assist audit requests.
• Serve as member of local FD's extended leadership team.
• Act as Face of GS and bridge between BU Finance, FPA, and GS teams.
• Support and collaborate with BUF, FPA, and GS teams on joint goals.
• Participate in GS process improvements and global/local projects.

The Finance Manager is responsible for Controllership services for Abiomed and V-Wave in North America with direct support to 1 Commercial CFOs. The role is global (NA and OUS) and highly visible as it supports all NA Abiomed business worldwide. The Finance Manager is the lead authority on the actuals, is passionate about business understanding and cross-process coordination of the (US GAAP) BRAVO financial results for External Reporting, and drives balanced collaboration with Business Unit Finance, Corporate Services, A&D, and Global Services Finance. The Finance Manager provides trusted business partners, across all levels, with the crucial Controllership Services that enable transformations, sustain E2E accounting oversight, and influence financial decisions. Through special projects, such as SigniFi, this role is at the forefront of influencing next-generation technology, providing support to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions that address Financial Reporting compliance and business needs.

Core responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate financial statement reviews for Commercial Finance senior leadership within Abiomed and any other MedTech upcoming acquisition
• Lead the overall close coordination for NAM Abiomed through pre-close meetings and check-in meetings
• Analyze financial statements to ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of numbers
• Facilitate BVA review and approval through collaboration on commentary and analysis
• Lead the analysis and presentation of the Global Balance Sheet, CapEx, and Cash Flow Statements to all Abiomed Finance Leadership
• Approve Actuals submissions in BRAVO, comply with various SOX controls processes (e.g., BVA-02, BS-75 Questionnaire, FR-02, FR-04), and partner with PwC, GAA, and Compliance to satisfy audit requests and strengthen compliance
• Serve as member of local FD's extended leadership team (LT)
• Act as "Face of GS" and lead for Actuals, the bridge between Business Unit Finance (BUF), Financial Planning and Analysis, and GS Global Process organizations
• Support, influence and work closely with BUF, FPA, and GS teams on joint goals and objectives
• Be part of, GS process improvement and other global/local projects

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
• CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), SAP, TM1 and Bravo.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• Required experience in Account-to-Report experience within the last year minimum, including consolidations with leadership exposure, balance sheet reconciliations, pre and post-close communications, audit requests, etc. preferably supporting MedTech business.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
• Ability to frame clear & concise communication across all relevant stakeholders
