Job summary

ZTE Colombia is seeking a Customs & Logistics Leader to oversee customs clearance, imports, transportation, and warehousing. You will coordinate with DIAN on audits and procedures, ensure OEA compliance, and manage suppliers, KPIs, and costs to meet service levels.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in customs and logistics, knowledge of Colombian regulations, and intermediate English. Telecommunications or IT exposure is a plus, supporting a global operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in customs clearance, customs management, logistics, and international trade.
• Experience working at a Customs Clearance Agency (Agencia de Aduanas) is highly preferred.
• Knowledge and practical experience with OEA requirements.
• Knowledge of Colombian customs regulations and DIAN procedures.
• Conversational English – Intermediate level is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and follow up on customs clearance, imports, transportation, and warehousing processes.
• Coordinate with DIAN on audits, inspections, requirements, and customs procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OEA requirements.
• Manage customs and logistics suppliers, KPIs, contracts, costs, and service levels.
• Participate in bidding, negotiation, and supplier selection processes.
• Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage requirements from Headquarters and ensure compliance with internal processes and Colombian regulations.
