Job summary

Illumina is seeking a Medical Affairs Manager, LATAM, to lead regional Medical Affairs activities across Spanish-speaking Latin America. This is an individual contributor role, coordinating with Brazil and other regions to drive scientific engagement and education around Illumina’s clinical genomics portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Affairs, clinical research, scientific affairs, or healthcare professional education.
• Strong knowledge of molecular diagnostics, genomics, precision medicine, or related discipline.
• Ability to manage scientific projects and external collaborations independently.
• Experience supporting clinical evidence generation, scientific engagement, or healthcare professional education.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of Medical Affairs priorities across Spanish-speaking Latin America in alignment with regional and global strategies.
• Identify opportunities for clinical evidence generation, investigator collaborations, and healthcare professional education.
• Build scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, and laboratories.
• Execute regional clinical evidence-generation projects and healthcare education initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement clinical Illumina solutions.
• Contribute to study design, publications, and educational programs.
• Disseminate scientific and clinical content demonstrating utility of Illumina technologies.
• Communicate customer insights and emerging needs to regional/global stakeholders.
• Maintain understanding of advances in clinical genomics and healthcare systems in LATAM.
