Bluelight is seeking a senior backend-focused software engineer to design and build scalable API services across AWS, with strong PostgreSQL exposure and multi-tenant considerations. The role emphasizes collaboration, high-quality code, and ownership across a fast-growing consultancy environment.

You will work on challenging projects, contribute to frontend work when needed, and interact with teams across the US and Latin America, aligning with US business hours.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations.
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and fault-injection testing.
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed.
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
