Roca Alliances is seeking a Frontend Lead Developer to guide the technical direction and delivery of the front-end for a large-scale web portal. You will oversee the front-end build, align UI with the design system, and drive high standards for quality, performance, accessibility, and scalability.

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on React/TypeScript expertise with architectural leadership, mentoring developers, and establishing scalable front-end solutions across teams.

We arelooking for a Frontend Lead Developer to lead the technical direction anddelivery of the front-end experience for a large-scale web portal.

In thisrole, you will oversee the front-end build, ensuring UI screens and reusablecomponents are aligned with the established design system and built to a highstandard of quality, performance, accessibility, and scalability.

You willcombine hands-on technical expertise with architectural leadership, definingscalable front-end solutions, establishing development standards, drivingreusable component strategies and microfrontend adoption, and mentoringdevelopers across the team.

The idealcandidate is a strong technical leader with deep experience in modern React andTypeScript ecosystems, front-end architecture, component-based development, andlarge-scale web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the front-end solutiondesign and technical implementation for large-scale web applications.
• Translate business and productrequirements into scalable and maintainable UI architecture.
• Oversee the front-end build ofthe portal, ensuring UI screens and reusable components align with thedesign system.
• Define component strategies,reusable UI patterns, and front-end architectural standards.
• Drive the adoption ofmicrofrontend architecture and establish alignment across developmentteams.
• Establish front-end standards,governance, coding practices, and architectural best practices.
• Mentor front-end developers andprovide technical guidance through code reviews, design reviews, andarchitectural discussions.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UIDesigners, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure accurateand effective design implementation.
• Integrate front-endapplications with REST APIs and authentication workflows.
• Drive performance optimizationacross front-end applications, including lazy loading, code splitting,caching, and bundle optimization.
• Apply secure front-enddevelopment practices throughout the application lifecycle.
• Support production readiness,release planning, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
• Contribute to technicaldecision-making and continuously improve front-end architecture, tooling,and development processes.

• Strong knowledge of statemanagement, particularly Redux.
• Solid understanding offront-end application architecture and established design patterns.
• Experience with front-end performanceoptimization, including:

• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with front-endtesting frameworks and tools such as Jest, React Testing Library,Cypress, or Playwright.
