Love's Travel Stops in Trinidad, Casanare, Colombia seeks a Fresh Food Manager to lead the kitchen operations and drive sales while upholding safety and quality. The role emphasizes staff leadership, scheduling, and day-to-day management in a fast-paced food service environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of food management experience and strong interpersonal skills to deliver excellent customer service and maintain product standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years food management experience.
• 1+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 1+ years supervising and training 5 or more employees.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen with food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food prep.
• Oversee task execution, maintain schedule integrity, and complete reporting.
• Work with team to prepare and package products for customers.
• Understand financial reporting including P&L to drive business changes.
• Collaborate with leadership on talent acquisition.

Job Functions

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Oversee proper task execution and completion, maintain schedule integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Work alongside team members to prepare and package products in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations.
• Understand financial reporting, which includes profit and loss statements to affect business changes and capitalize on opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership in the efforts of talent acquisition.

Requirements

• 1+ years food management experience.
• 1+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 1+ years supervising and training 5 or more employees.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.
