ScotiaGBS, a Scotiabank Group company located in Bogota, Colombia, seeks an enterprising student to join the Fraud Monitoring team for International Banking. You will analyze alerts, contact clients, and document decisions while supporting real-time monitoring in a regulated environment.

You will learn fraud controls, risk appetite, and accreditations while contributing to effective monitoring and escalation. Turn shifts 24/7 in a fast‑paced, inclusive team.

Formación

• Student in finance or related field (8th–12th semester).
• At least 1 year of experience in fraud risk monitoring.
• Knowledge of financial products and transaction authorization processes.
• Experience with monitoring tools and transactional processing systems.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Promote a customer-centered culture.
• Support alert reviews from monitoring tools.
• Contact clients using approved scripts and authentication procedures.
• Perform initial alert analysis and escalate for further investigation.
• Document actions, observations, and results in monitoring systems.
• Flag fraud cases in tools per guidelines.
• Manage real-time and near-real-time alerts.
• Assist analysts and supervisors in handling alert volumes.
• Comply with risk management policies.
• Maintain client information confidentiality.
• Participate in fraud training programs.
• Understand and apply bank risk appetite and culture.
• Perform operations efficiently reflecting bank values.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing environment.
