Tesoro AI is recruiting a Forward Deployed Analyst for a healthcare technology company building operational infrastructure for patient scheduling, calls, insurance eligibility, and systems integrations. You will work close to real operational workflows, identify where things are not behaving as expected, trace problems across data and systems, determine what is actually causing them, and help drive the issue through resolution.

Formación

• Hands-on experience investigating technical, operational, or data problems.
• Strong root-cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience querying and validating data using SQL, Python, scripts, or notebooks.
• Experience working with APIs, integrations, pipelines, data flows, or connected systems.
• Strong data-quality mindset and attention to unexpected or inconsistent results.
• Experience working with production systems, operational monitoring, or incident investigation.
• Ability to independently investigate a problem instead of waiting for a detailed playbook.
• Strong professional English communication skills.
• Hybrid work experience in Medellín, Colombia.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate non-obvious issues across operational data, logs, integrations, and workflows.
• Trace records and data flows end to end to identify where failures originate.
• Use queries, scripts, notebooks, exports, logs, and configuration tools to validate hypotheses.
• Work with APIs, field mappings, integrations, and developers to diagnose technical issues.
• Monitor known failure modes and help improve alerts and operational visibility.
• Stay involved after the initial analysis to make sure issues are actually resolved.
• Clearly document what happened, why it happened, and what changed.
• Explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical teammates.

Tesoro AI is recruiting a Forward Deployed Analyst for a healthcare technology company building operational infrastructure that supports patient scheduling, calls, insurance eligibility, and integrations with healthcare systems.

This role is for someone who does not like leaving unexplained results unexplained.

You will work close to real operational workflows, identify where things are not behaving as expected, trace problems across data and systems, determine what is actually causing them, and help drive the issue through resolution.

What you'll work on

You may investigate questions such as:

• Why did scheduling volume suddenly change?
• Why are agents not scheduling successfully?
• Why did a record fail to sync between systems?
• Where was data duplicated, dropped, or incorrectly mapped?
• Is a problem coming from the source system, an integration, configuration, or downstream workflow?
• How do we detect the same failure earlier next time?

You will:

• Investigate non-obvious issues across operational data, logs, integrations, and workflows.

You do not need to come from a traditional Data Analyst background. Relevant experience may come from data, systems, integrations, implementation, technical operations, production support, or engineering roles.

Nice to have

Experience with any of the following is helpful but not required:

• Healthcare technology or EHR/EMR systems
• Healthcare operations or implementations
• FHIR R4 or HL7 v2
• Salesforce or other complex CRM / health-record platforms
• MuleSoft or similar integration middleware
• Operational dashboards, monitoring, or alerting

The kind of person who will enjoy this role

You are probably a good match if an unexplained result bothers you enough that you want to keep digging.

You enjoy understanding how systems connect, testing hypotheses against real data, working across technical and operational teams, and staying with a problem until you know whether it has actually been fixed.

This is not primarily a dashboard-reporting role, and it is not a role where analysis ends with handing someone a report.

Location

This position is based in Medellín, Colombia and follows a hybrid work model.

Some in-person work is important because understanding the real operating environment and directly observing user workflows can be part of diagnosing and validating issues.
