Hilti Colombia seeks a Financial Accountant to lead key accounting and finance processes, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up while complying with company policies. You will support reliable financial operations and strengthen internal controls.

Responsibilities include coordinating tax compliance, overseeing SAP-based processes, and assisting audits. A focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration will drive efficiency and accuracy across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Advanced English required (written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Professional Accountant License (Tarjeta Profesional) is required.
• Experience coordinating accounting and finance processes including reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, and accounts payable.
• Knowledge of Colombian national and local tax obligations and related compliance processes.
• Working knowledge of SAP and IFRS requirements.
• Practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies and ability to apply them to improve efficiency.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits and maintaining financial controls.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to organize priorities and follow through.
• Clear communication and effective cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate key accounting and finance processes with accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Oversee account reconciliations and balance sheet analysis; resolve open items.
• Manage accounts payable documentation review, invoice monitoring, and payment coordination.
• Coordinate tax compliance; ensure timely filing of national and local taxes.
• Oversee SAP-based financial processes and ensure IFRS alignment and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requests and provide supporting documentation.
• Serve as liaison between Finance and other functions to execute financial processes effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement to standardize and strengthen financial controls.
