Prysmian Group in Bogotá, Colombia seeks an Electromechanical Technician to provide technical support and ensure the availability and reliability of plant equipment. Based in Bogotá, you will perform maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting across electrical and control systems.

You will work with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, fieldbuses, instrumentation, and programming languages such as Java and Visual Basic, while following safety and environmental guidelines and maintaining a 6S

Formación

• Technician/technologist in electromec h anics with more than 2 years of experience in a industrial setting.
• Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley and Siemens), fieldbuses, instrumentation and control systems.
• Electrical/electronic maintenance with programming knowledge (Java, Visual Basic).
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics; handling hazardous energies.
• Certifications for working at heights and CONTE card (or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Carry out activities indicated in work orders and maintain plant equipment in good condition.
• Report irregularities found in machinery operation or equipment.
• Perform corrective maintenance and participate in preventive maintenance and industrial assemblies.
• Follow safety guidelines and promote safety at work; comply with environmental programs.
• Adhere to the 6S culture to keep workstations and workshops organized and clean.

Overview and main duties

At Prysmian, we are looking for an Electromechanical Technician to join our team. Based in Bogotá, Colombia, the role involves providing technical support and ensuring the availability and reliability of plant equipment.

Main responsibilities

Carry out the activities indicated in the work orders and maintain the physical plant and equipment in good condition Report any irregularities found in the operation of machinery or support equipment Perform corrective maintenance, participate in preventive maintenance and support industrial assemblies. Comply with established safety guidelines and promote safety at work. Comply with the environmental programme and the use of chemical substances Comply with the Matrix of Roles, Responsibilities and Authorities in relation to the Occupational Health and Safety Management System Keep workstations and workshops in good order and clean, complying with the 6S culture.

En Prysmian estamos buscando un Técnico electromecánico para unirse a nuestro equipo. Con sede en Bogotá -Colombia, con el objetivo de dar soporte técnico, garantizar disponibilidad y confiabilidad de equipos en planta.

Principales responsabilidades

Cumplir con las actividades indicadas en las órdenes de trabajo y mantener la planta física y equipos en buen estado Informar cualquier irregularidad encontrada en el funcionamiento de las maquinaria o equipos de apoyo Atender los mantenimientos correctivos, participar del mantenimiento preventivo y apoyar los montajes industriales. Cumplir lineamientos de seguridad establecidos y promover la seguridad en el trabajo. Cumplir con el programa ambiental y el uso de sustancias químicas Cumplir con la Matriz de Roles, Responsabilidades y Autoridades frente al Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo Mantener puestos de trabajo y talleres en orden adecuado y aseo, cumpliendo la cultura de 6s.

¿A quién buscamos?

Técnico / tecnólogo en electromecánica, eléctrica o a fines Experiencia superior a 2 años Conocimientos en programación de PLC´s Allen Bradley y Siemens, Bases de campo industrial, Instrumentación y control de sistemas Mantenimiento eléctrico/electrónico, lenguaje de programación (java, Visual Basic), Neumática, Hidráulica. Manejo y control de energías peligrosas y montajes industriales. Certificación de trabajo en alturas y tarjeta CONTE (o equivalente)
