Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks an Electronics Assembler for our Santa Isabel, PR location to build electronic devices and subassemblies using blueprints and tools. This onsite role requires careful reading of schematics, adherence to process documentation, and precise assembly to meet quality specifications.

You will plan, fabricate, assemble, test, inspect, calibrate, and troubleshoot electronic hardware, with relocation not offered. U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) or vocational/technical education with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Work from instructions, drawings, schematics, illustrations and process documentation to assemble a wide variety of electrical subassemblies and systems.
• Plan, fabricate, assemble, disassemble, set up, test, inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electrical hardware and equipment.
• Perform routine, complex, and repetitive assembly operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
• Analyze and evaluate test results to validate acceptance criteria.
• Practice and comply with environmental, health, and safety directions and procedures.
• An essential function of this role is the ability to accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods. You will be required to successfully complete a post offer vision examination.
