Child Start, Inc. in El Dorado, KS is seeking a Classroom Aide to provide a warm, safe environment and assist the teacher with record-keeping and meal setup.

You will support infant feeding, supervise meals, help with attendance, CACFP paperwork, and coordinate with families to involve them in the program. The role requires a high school diploma and willingness to pursue a CDA or an associate degree in Early Childhood Education; physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds; competitive benefits

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent; willing to begin an education plan to obtain a CDA credential or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education.
• A love for teaching and the ability to build a trusting relationship with students, teachers and parents.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds for various classroom and event needs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the teacher with classroom record-keeping tasks.
• Assist with food service as assigned and supervise meals.
• Support screenings completed in the first 45 days and as scheduled in developmental, speech and behavior.
• Support and encourage families to be actively involved in the program and assist with volunteering.
• Assist with attendance and CACFP paperwork; complete Summer food services for children.
• Inventories food and requests supplies as needed; assist with fluoride administration and recording.
