AgileEngine is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage migrations, ensure production reliability, and improve observability across environments. The role involves on-call support, weekend migrations, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.

You will work with AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC to optimize infrastructure and automation. The ideal candidate has strong SRE/DevOps experience, deep cloud and containerization skills, and excellent English communication.

Formación

• 2+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Operations.
• Demonstrable AWS experience supporting production environments.
• Experience supporting production SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar).
• GitOps experience and strong Git fundamentals.
• Experience using GitHub, Jira, and Confluence in collaborative environments.
• Kubernetes experience (EKS, kOps, or similar).
• Docker/containerization experience.
• Observability stack experience (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, PagerDuty).
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or Go).
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Helm, or similar).
• Relational databases knowledge (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Comfortable with structured processes and SLAs.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Weekend availability for migrations when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Migrate applications between environments; weekend migrations required.
• Monitor production and staging environments for high availability and performance.
• Respond to incidents, perform triage and root cause analysis.
• Participate in on-call rotation with SLAs.
• Handle ad-hoc operational requests from Product, Support, and internal teams.
• Maintain and enhance monitoring, alerts, dashboards, logs, and metrics.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, production releases, and GitOps workflows.
• Contribute to automation to reduce operational toil.
• Maintain and improve Kubernetes-based infrastructure and containers.
• Support Infrastructure as Code practices and environment improvements.
