AgileEngine is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage migrations between environments and ensure reliability of production and staging systems. You will handle incident response, improve observability, and support Kubernetes-based infrastructure with strong CI/CD and GitOps practices.

The role emphasizes weekend migrations, on-call rotation, and collaboration across Product and Support teams. Strong AWS, Docker, and scripting skills are essential to maintain uptime.

Formación

• At least 2 years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Operations.
• Demonstrable AWS experience supporting production environments.
• Experience supporting production SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
• GitOps experience and strong Git fundamentals.
• Experience using GitHub, Jira, and Confluence in collaborative engineering environments.
• Kubernetes experience (EKS, kOps, or similar).
• Docker/containerization experience.
• Observability stack experience (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, PagerDuty, etc.).
• Scripting (Bash, Python, or Go).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm).
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Migrate applications between environments; weekend migrations are required.
• Monitor production and staging environments in real time for high availability.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and participate in post-incident reviews.
• Participate in on-call rotation with defined SLAs.
• Handle ad-hoc operational requests from Product, Support, and internal teams.
• Maintain and enhance monitoring, alerting, dashboards, logs, and metrics.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, production releases, and GitOps workflows.
• Contribute to automation efforts to reduce operational toil.
• Maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure and containerized workloads.
• Support Infrastructure as Code practices and ongoing environment improvements.
