Monks is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure for client projects. You will own the platform that the team relies on, ensuring automation, observability, and reliability.

• 5+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.

Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We build and run production systems for clients, and we want the infrastructure under them to be automated, observable, and dull in the best possible way. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you design and maintain the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation that let the team ship with confidence.

You'll work inside a Monks delivery team, alongside engineers and clients, owning the platform everything else runs on.

We're all-in on agentic engineering. Tools like Claude Code and Codex are part of our everyday workflow, and we're looking for people who are genuinely fluent working alongside AI coding agents and excited to push those practices further.

• CI/CD tooling and scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Monitoring and observability practices.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile consulting environment.
• You've deployed AI or LLM services at scale.
• Security best practices and hardening.
