Electronic Arts seeks a Development Manager to lead QA project planning and execution from our Bogotá site (Salitre area). You will oversee schedules, manage risks, and coordinate with developers, QA peers, analysts, and producers to deliver milestones.

You will mentor QA staff, drive process improvements, and ensure reporting to leadership. Strong English, +3 years PM/QA leadership, and people management are required for this role.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience in project management or QA team leadership.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban and bug tracking tools.
• Understanding of software development processes.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with white-box/gray-box testing techniques.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Aufgaben

• Oversee project schedules and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Modify priorities on the fly based on critical changes.
• Balance scope, timelines, and overall project quality.
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage blockers, prioritize tasks, and ensure project goals are met.
• Ensure effective reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders, including developers, analysts, and producers.
• Conduct regular meetings, such as stand-ups and planning sessions, to align team efforts.
• Communicate project expectations and progress updates effectively.
• Encourage partner engagement.
• Determine and manage resource requirements for the project.
• Handle capacity planning, scheduling, and tracking of tasks.
• Manage, mentor, and support QA team members.
• Conduct performance reviews, career development, and training.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
