Electronic Arts in Bogotá, Colombia is seeking a Development Manager to lead QA planning and execution within the QVS team. You will coordinate with multiple studios and stakeholders to align project schedules, test strategies, and performance goals.

The role reports to the Development Director and requires strong project management, leadership, and English fluency. On-site work in Salitre, EA benefits are provided, and you will mentor QA professionals and drive best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience in project management or team leadership roles in QA.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and bug tracking tools.
• Understanding of software development processes.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

• Conduct regular meetings, such as stand-ups and planning sessions, to align team efforts.

This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).

Our Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team is integral to our development process. They consistently deliver actionable insights that help our game teams optimize software performance and elevate gameplay.

You will join us as a Development Manager, reporting to the Development Director.

You will work closely with the FC Live team, overseeing QA project planning and execution with studio partners. You will collaborate with development teams and QA peers to coordinate project schedules, strategize tests, and manage project metrics. You will be an essential part of the knowledge transfer process and communication with the game team and partner groups. In partnership with QA leaders, you will work towards enhancing QA practices, sharing expertise, and advocating for game design and implementation.

• Experience with white-box/gray-box testing techniques.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
