Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IS, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise apps with C# and .NET.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core/.NET, REST APIs.
• Experience upgrading, modernizing, or migrating platforms.
• Experience with Entity Framework and relational databases.
• Experience with AWS-hosted apps, cloud services, and modern deployment.
• Familiarity with Auth0, SAML, Identity Server, and auth concepts.
• Understanding CI/CD, source control, and modern software practices.
• Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration.
• Strong English communication with cross-functional and US stakeholders.

Job Description

The Backend Developer will support the modernization of enterprise applications from .NET 6 to .NET 10 by developing, enhancing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, integrations, and data access components. Working within an Agile delivery squad, this role will collaborate closely with the Tech Lead, Full Stack Developer, QA Engineer, and SDET resources to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support Tivity's modernization objectives. The Backend Developer will contribute to application upgrades, technical implementation, troubleshooting, testing support, and production deployments throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and business logic supporting enterprise applications.
• Support modernization of applications from .NET 6 to .NET 10 while minimizing risk to existing functionality.
• Design and implement scalable solutions using C#, .NET, Entity Framework, and related backend technologies.
• Collaborate with full stack developers to support React and TypeScript application functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards, best practices, and overall code quality.
• Support CI/CD initiatives, deployment activities, and release readiness efforts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and sprint reviews.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including application designs, integration specifications, deployment procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core/.NET, REST APIs, and backend application development.
• Experience supporting application upgrades, modernization efforts, or platform migrations.
• Experience with Entity Framework and relational database technologies.
• Experience working with AWS-hosted applications, cloud services, and modern deployment practices.
• Familiarity with Auth0, SAML, Identity Server, and authentication/authorization concepts.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, source control, and modern software development practices.
• Experience working with Git, Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working within cross-functional teams alongside architects, developers, quality engineers, and business stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and U.S.-based stakeholders.
