International Rescue Committee in Colombia seeks a Deputy Director of Programs to lead strategy and implementation across Colombia and Ecuador. You will guide program design, ensure quality and safeguarding, and coordinate with technical advisors and partners to maximize impact for affected communities.

The role requires a Master’s degree and at least eight years of senior program management experience in humanitarian settings, with strong leadership and donor engagement skills.

Formación

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years managing teams in Latin America.
• Minimum eight years of management experience in humanitarian or development settings.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in cross-cultural settings.
• Experience managing programs funded by U.S. government agencies, DFID, the EU, foundations, and private donors.

Responsabilidades

• Provide overall leadership and management of the IRC’s program portfolio in Colombia and Ecuador.
• Support the Country Director in designing and updating the Strategic Action Plan for Colombia.
• Lead the country program’s localization strategy and building partnerships with local actors.
• Oversee quality grants management and ensure donor compliance and timely reporting.
• Represent the IRC to partners, government, and donors; develop strong donor relationships.
