AgileEngine is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and support scalable data pipelines on the Databricks platform. You will architect and deliver high‑quality code, diagnose production issues, and collaborate with leads to anticipate barriers in a fast‑paced, people‑first culture.

You will work with Databricks, Unity Catalog, RDS Postgres, Aurora, and SQL Server within a modern cloud environment, employing Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices to deliver robust data platforms at

Formación

• 3 years of software development experience in building commercial applications.
• Experience with the Databricks platform, Unity Catalog, notebooks and pipelines.
• Experience administering RDS Postgres and Aurora databases, and knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, design, and deliver high‑quality code independently following best practices.
• Understand and make well‑reasoned design decisions and trade‑offs.
• Diagnose and fix production issues.
• Communicate with the development lead to raise issues and anticipate barriers.
• Build scalable enterprise applications and components with strong CS fundamentals.
• Develop scalable, highly available architectures across front‑ and back‑end.
• Pursue empirical evidence via proofs of concept, tests, and external research.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
