AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and support scalable data pipelines on the Databricks platform. You will architect and deliver high-quality code and solve complex data problems at scale.

You will work with AWS, serverless and microservice architectures while collaborating with distributed teams in a fast-paced, people-first environment that values growth and delivery excellence.

Formación

• 3 years of software development experience and/or commensurate skills in building commercial applications.
• Experience with the Databricks platform — Unity Catalog, notebooks and pipelines.
• Experience administering RDS Postgres and Aurora databases; knowledge of MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency with AWS, Serverless, Event-Driven Architecture, SOA, Microservices, CI/CD and IaC.
• Experience with full SDLC, coding standards, design patterns, code reviews, source control, builds, testing and operations.
• Proven track record in distributed teams using Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, design, and deliver high-quality code independently following best practices.
• Understand design decisions and trade-offs in your work.
• Diagnose and fix production issues.
• Communicate with the development lead to raise issues and anticipate barriers.
• Build enterprise applications at scale using solid CS fundamentals.
• Develop scalable, highly available, high-performance components with frontend and backend architecture know-how.
• Seek evidence through proofs of concept, tests, and external research.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
