AgileEngine is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and support scalable data pipelines on the Databricks platform. You will architect and deliver high-quality code while following best practices and collaborating with the team.

The role requires experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, and cloud architectures, plus proficiency in relational databases and modern software engineering principles.

Formación

• 3 years of software development experience in commercial applications.
• Experience with the Databricks platform and Unity Catalog.
• Experience administering RDS Postgres, Aurora, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Serverless, CI/CD, IaC, microservices).

Responsabilidades

• Architect, design, and deliver high-quality code independently following best practices.
• Understand design decisions and trade-offs in your work.
• Diagnose and fix production issues.
• Communicate with the development lead to raise issues and anticipate barriers.
• Build enterprise applications at scale across front-end and back-end architectures.
• Develop scalable, high-performance components with CS fundamentals.
• Seek evidence through proofs of concept, tests, and external research.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
