WPP Media is seeking a Manager Data Engineer to drive architectural direction for large-scale data pipelines, leveraging Azure Data Factory and modern data technologies. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with US onshore leadership, and govern critical data platforms to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

The role emphasizes automation, operational excellence, and adherence to governance standards while enabling analytics and media teams to extract maximum value from data assets.

Formación

• 3–4 years of progressive experience in data engineering with Azure Data Factory and SQL.
• Experience designing, optimizing, and managing large-scale production data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure and/or GCP) and performance tuning.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and serverless tech.
• Implement efficient SQL solutions with partitioning and indexing for analytics models.
• Lead automation frameworks using Python and API orchestration to streamline data lifecycle.
• Own production pipeline reliability; perform root-cause analysis and improve stability.
• Define coding standards through reviews and audits for offshore engineers.
• Document data lineage and automated CI/CD deployment practices for governance.
• Provide expert support to analytics and media teams translating business needs into scalable solutions.
