Publicis Global Delivery is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data Operations team in Bogotá. You will manage data workflow automation, contribute to the GCP platform, and support end-to-end data pipelines. Collaboration with internal stakeholders to assess data needs is essential.

The role requires strong Python and SQL skills, BigQuery experience, and a good grasp of ETL processes and data governance. You will work with a data lake on GCP and help onboard new data sources.

Overview

As a Data Engineer on the Data Operations team, you are responsible for managing data workflow automation processes. You will be part of a team responsible for developing and delivering our GCP platform. You will support end-to-end workflows while actively collaborating with different internal stakeholders to assess data needs.

Responsibilities

• Drive and advance existing end-to-end workflow processes
• Take ownership of proper data governance and conduct data quality checks in collaboration with teams
• Prepare documentation for workflow automation and new pipeline development
• Drive the audit process automation to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Utilize ETL tools to extract data from data sources, filter, and transform the data for use in reporting and analysis (BigQuery, Python, GCP)
• Develop, deliver, and maintain the BigQuery data lake
• On-board new data sources to the data lake
• Collaborate with the project management team for key data operation projects

Qualifications

Must have skills

• Hands-on experience with Python programming.
• Experience developing ETL solutions and data engineering workflows.
• Strong SQL and database experience.
• Experience with BigQuery.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Ability to create scripts, stored procedures, and manage data pipelines.
• Basic knowledge of the advertising/marketing industry and digital marketing metrics.
• Experience using Campaign Manager (CM360) or understanding its functionality.
• Proficiency in Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience building Data Studio / Looker Studio reports.
• Knowledge of Alteryx or other ETL-related tools.
• Familiarity with additional digital advertising platforms beyond Campaign Manager.
• Experience with social media advertising platforms and related tools.
• Knowledge of SA360 (Search Ads 360).
• Broader understanding of digital marketing platforms and marketing performance metrics.
• Advanced Excel expertise beyond core requirements.
