AppGate in Bogotá is seeking a highly curious and proactive L1 Analyst to join our GFC operations team. You will be the first line of defense against cybersecurity events, performing threat analysis and proactive monitoring to protect our clients.

The ideal candidate is someone who goes beyond alerts, digging deeper into data and proposing new ideas. Benefits include extensive health insurance, fitness allowances, and remote work stipends.

Formación

• At least 1 year of experience in operations environments (SOC, Help Desk, or similar roles).
• Solid understanding of Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
• Intermediate English level (B1+ or B2, spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Act as the initial point of contact for security events.
• Perform continuous monitoring, proactive searches, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessments.
• Solve technical problems independently and escalate complex issues.
• Propose ideas in investigations focused on key information gathering.
• Document all actions taken within incident management.
• Collaborate with local team members and assist junior analysts.
