Job summary

The Original Bitcoin Exchange is seeking an AML Investigations professional to efficiently adjudicate referrals of unusual activity for timely SAR submissions or to close referrals as not suspicious, within regulatory timelines.

Reporting to the Head of Investigation Team and collaborating with Compliance and Customer Support, you will develop strong industry relationships and advance your investigative skills while staying ahead of blockchain-related risks and sanctions compliance.

Qualifications

• University education (Preferred).
• Experience in an investigative function.
• Experience using blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic.
• AML experience incl. customer and enhanced due diligence (CDD/EDD), AML/CTF/Sanctions Investigations, SAR/STR reporting.
• Basic knowledge of blockchain technology (enhanced in the role).
• CAMS/CBP designation (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to determine risk exposure and mitigate risks with SAR filings.
• Provide support to Customer Help Desk / Legal Team requests for investigative assistance.
• Communicate with customers, agents, and internal attorneys as applicable.
