Job summary

IDEMIA Secure Transactions in Bogotá is seeking a Controlling Analyst to monitor and improve financial performance, partnering with business leaders to support informed decisions and drive profitability and cash flow in a hybrid setup.

You will contribute to monthly closings, prepare reports and KPI analyses, support budgets and forecasts, and present results to management. Hybrid work arrangement and location in Bogotá offer opportunities to influence financial strategy across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis, Controlling, FP&A or similar Finance role.
• Intermediate English for financial reports and occasional meetings with global teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial closing and reporting activities, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, KPIs and performance indicators.
• Monitor actual results against budget and forecast, identifying variances.
• Support budget preparation, forecasting activities and periodic reviews.
• Assist in preparing financial analyses and business cases.
• Monitor expenses, cost allocation and PO approvals per budget.
• Collaborate with business and operational teams to understand drivers and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare financial presentations and reports for management stakeholders.

In this role, you will contribute to monitoring and improving financial performance, partnering with business leaders to support informed decisions and drive profitability and cash performance.

Location: Location: Edificio Brickell Center. Diagonal 92 #17a - 42 piso 5 (Hybrid work)

Salary: Salary: COP $5,150,000 gross/month

Key responsibilities:

• Support monthly financial closing and reporting activities, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, KPIs and performance indicators.
• Monitor actual results against budget and forecast, identifying and explaining relevant variances.
• Support budget preparation, forecasting activities and periodic performance reviews.
• Assist in the preparation of financial analyses and business cases.
• Monitor expenses, cost allocation and purchase order (PO) approvals in line with budget guidelines.
• Collaborate with business and operational teams to understand financial performance drivers and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare financial presentations and reports for management stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis, Controlling, FP&A or a similar Finance role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate English, for financial reports, documentation and occasional meetings with global teams
• Attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders.
