Michael Page Colombia busca un Controller Specialist para impulsar controles financieros y liderar la automatización de cierres contables y reportes. Es una oportunidad de impacto en una empresa líder en servicios financieros digitales en LATAM.

Formación

• Formación universitaria en áreas afines a finanzas o contabilidad.

Responsabilidades

• Promover e impulsar acciones de mejora continua con el equipo de contabilidad para estandarizar procesos y generar eficiencia mediante automatización.
• Analizar y mapear procesos existentes para identificar automatización con herramientas disponibles.
• Trabajar con equipos de datos y producto para diseñar procesos financieros y almacenar información para cierres contables, estados e informes regulatorios.
• Contribuir al mantenimiento de productos centrales, analizando comportamientos, bugs y bases de datos complejas.
• Mejorar el proceso de cierre contable buscando oportunidades de automatización y controles.
• Contribuir a la preparación de estados financieros de productos.

• You will be responsible for promoting and developing continuous improvement actions with the controllership team with the aim of improving and standardizing processes and generating efficiency through automation.
• Analyze and map existing processes in order to identify business processes that can be automated using the tools available.
• Work together with data and product teams to design financial processes, indicating the most efficient way to store information for application in accounting routines (closings, Financial Statements, regulatory reports, etc.);
• Will contribute to the maintenance core products, analyzing unexpected behaviors, bugs and dealing with complex databases;
• Will improve the accounting closing process, looking for opportunities of automations and controls.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements for products.

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Intermediate English proficiency - able to participate in meetings, read and write documents, and deliver presentations to diverse teams.
• Preferable prior experience with Banking or Credit products.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic planning capabilities, with the ability to support the understanding and standardization of global business processes.
• Adaptable and assertive communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders including Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Data teams.
• Familiarity with local accounting regulations in Colombia (COL), as well as IFRS, is a plus.
• Desirable knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Scala, and Python is a plus, along with a genuine interest in further developing data skills.

Qué Ofrecemos

• Salary: COP 10,000,000 to COP 13,000,000 per month, depending on experience.
• Private Health Insurance (Prepaid Medical Plan).
• On-site position.
