Job summary

The Recap Group is seeking an experienced Sound Mixer & Mastering Engineer to handle audio post‑production for our video content. You will work primarily with premixed audio, repairing and re-balancing existing mixes, replacing music beds, and matching tonality to the original source for broadcast‑ready output.

Role requires proficiency in DAWs (Pro Tools, Audition, Logic, Reaper) and experience delivering for broadcast/streaming platforms. On‑site in Bogota; English fluency (C1–C2) required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience mixing/repairing audio for video/TV/streaming
• Experience selecting music matching mood/genre
• Strong tonal matching to replicate/compliment reference
• Work with premixed audio constraints (no stems)
• DAW proficiency (PT/Adobe Audition/Logic/Reaper)
• Experience delivering for broadcast and streaming platforms
• Knowledge of dialogue editing and cleanup techniques
• Ability to edit alongside video timelines (Premiere Pro)
• Attention to detail and meeting delivery deadlines

Responsibilities

• Work with premixed audio; repair/adjust existing tracks
• Identify and fix level/EQ/hum/clipping issues in premixed audio
• Mix replacement background music to match original tone and character
• Re-balance dialogue, music, and SFX across video projects
• Master final audio to broadcast specs
• Sync audio precisely with picture cuts and transitions
• Select or integrate licensed/royalty-free music and SFX
• Deliver stems and final mixes in required formats
• Collaborate with editors to match creative intent
• Maintain organized project files and version control
