Inovot is seeking a Commercial Business Intelligence Analyst to turn complex pharmaceutical data into actionable insights through Power BI dashboards and robust data automation. You will work closely with commercial and sales teams to translate requirements into clear analyses and recommendations, including presenting findings in English when needed.

Commercial Business Intelligence Analyst (Power BI & Data Automation)

You'll work directly with one of our clients in the pharmaceutical industry.

Partner with a pharma client's commercial and sales teams to turn complex data into better decisions. You won't just build the dashboard - you'll sit down with the team, walk them through it, and help them act on it. The role blends real business sense and clear communication with strong technical craft (Power BI, advanced Excel, Python).

What you'll do

• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards focused on actionable insights.
• Build and optimize robust data models.
• Automate data flows using Python and Power Query.
• Analyze commercial data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Work directly with commercial and sales teams to understand their needs and support them with analysis that drives results.
• Present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, translating data into clear, concrete actions.
• Take part in meetings and communications with clients in English when required.
• Propose improvements to reporting and analysis processes, and document best practices and business logic.

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or similar roles, working with commercial data (sales / sell-in / sell-out, performance, KPIs, forecasting, revenue, sales force).
• Advanced Power BI: data modeling, advanced DAX (filter context, CALCULATE, time intelligence), decision-oriented dashboards, and basic performance optimization.
• Advanced Excel (Power Query, data transformation/cleaning, pivot tables) and Python (process automation, pandas/numpy, simple ETL); SQL and integrating multiple sources (ERP, CRM, flat files, APIs).
• Experience working closely with commercial and sales teams — understanding their goals, dynamics, and day-to-day.
• Excellent communication: presenting findings and translating data into clear, concrete actions for non-technical audiences (sales managers, reps, executives).
• Data storytelling and active listening — turning business needs into concrete data questions, and coaching teams to make decisions with the dashboards.
• Advanced English (required), spoken and written. Hands-on, analytical, self-driven, with attention to detail and a continuous-improvement mindset.

• Experience integrating multiple data sources (ERP, CRM, flat files, APIs).
• Experience partnering closely with sales teams in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Data storytelling and a strong eye for dashboard design.

What we offer

Monthly salary between COP 4,000,000 and 5,000,000, depending on profile.
