Company Overview:

Tidal is a Direct Placement Agency that helps job seekers find job opportunities for real growth. We work with stable, responsible businesses that are experienced in remote hiring and are excited to welcome international team members. Tidal is owned and operated by consumer brand owners and operators. We have experience in offshore team-building and aim to help businesses leverage global talent.

About This Role:

We are hiring an Operations & Fulfillment Manager to own day-to-day execution across fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, and Amazon operations while supporting strategic initiatives and process improvements. Working closely with an AI-native team led by former management consultants, you will keep priorities moving and resolve issues with strong ownership and follow-through. This role suits an early-career consultant or analytical generalist; prior warehouse or Amazon experience is not required, and training and coaching will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own operational execution and project coordination. Manage recurring tasks, track deadlines and dependencies, and follow through with internal teams and external partners to keep priorities on track. Resolve issues proactively and communicate progress, risks, and decisions needed.

  • Coordinate fulfillment and logistics. Manage day-to-day relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) across multiple regions, monitor inventory and inbound/outbound shipments, and work with warehouses and carriers to improve storage, fulfillment accuracy, delivery reliability, and cost efficiency.

  • Support supply chain activities. Assist with product development coordination, compliance tracking, and vendor management to help suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

  • Support Amazon operations. Learn and take ownership of assigned channel workflows, monitor operational issues, and coordinate timely resolution.

  • Support strategic initiatives and business analysis. Research opportunities, analyze performance, and prepare actionable recommendations in collaboration with operations leadership, marketing, finance, and customer service.

  • Improve processes through documentation and AI. Maintain operational reports and standard operating procedures, identify opportunities to reduce manual work, and help implement AI applications in forecasting, documentation, customer support workflows, and data quality checks. Verify outputs and measure results.

Software/Platforms/Tools:

  • Spreadsheet, document, and presentation tools

  • Team communication and project management platforms

  • AI tools for research, analysis, automation, and workflow improvement

  • Warehouse, inventory, fulfillment, and marketplace systems, with training provided as needed

Qualifications:

  • Approximately 2–3 years of experience in management consulting, strategy and operations, business operations, or a similarly analytical role. Experience at a Tier 1 or Tier 2 consulting firm is strongly preferred; strong analytical generalists from other backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and the ability to turn ambiguous requests into practical action plans.

  • Strong ownership, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through independently on recurring tasks and project work.

  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly, coordinate across teams, and manage external partner relationships.

  • Comfortable using AI tools, critically evaluating their outputs, and identifying practical ways to improve workflows.

  • Curious, resourceful, receptive to coaching, and interested in entrepreneurship, with the ability to learn quickly and exercise sound judgment as priorities change.

  • Experience in DTC, eCommerce, home furnishings, fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, or Amazon operations is helpful but not required.

Shift Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, with approximately 6–8 hours of daily overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (ET) business hours, following Eastern Standard Time or Eastern Daylight Time as applicable. The remaining working hours may be completed asynchronously. Exact working hours and overlap requirements will be agreed upon directly between the contractor and the client.
