FinOps Weekly is seeking a Business Operations Specialist – Cloud to support cloud financial management for the Media cluster across the US, Europe, and Asia. You will help improve visibility into cloud spend, attribution, and optimization efforts in a global Finance setting.

You will partner with the central FinOps team, Finance, Tech Ops, and Global Product teams, providing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and governance support while developing FinOps templates and processes.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Tech Finance as a Financial Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex data analysis.
• Understanding of cloud costs and FinOps concepts, or willingness to learn.
• Experience in large, complex matrix organisations or global tech/services.
• Self-driven and proactive with stakeholder engagement.

Responsabilidades

• Support the central FinOps team with FinOps activities for the Media cluster.
• Act as a Finance contact for Media cloud cost matters when additional support is needed.
• Analyse cloud spend to identify key cost drivers, trends, and variances.
• Improve cost attribution through allocation, tagging quality, and cost centre alignment.
• Work with FinOps, Tech Ops, and Global Product teams to identify and validate optimization opportunities.
• Define baselines, estimate savings, track delivery, and monitor risks and realised benefits.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and actuals variance tracking for Media cloud spend.
• Produce Finance-quality reporting and showback information for stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails in line with WPP Finance policies.
• Help refine FinOps trackers, templates, and working practices across Finance, FinOps, and Technology teams.
