FinOps Weekly seeks a Business Operations Specialist – Cloud to join the Global Operations Centre in Medellín. You will partner with Finance and Technology teams to analyse cloud spend, improve visibility, and support cost optimisation across Media cloud usage, collaborating with teams in the US, Europe, and Asia.

This role focuses on forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and governance, turning cloud consumption data into financial insight.

Formación

• 4+ years in Finance, FP&A, or Tech Finance as a Financial Analyst.
• Strong cost analysis, modelling, and variance explanation.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex data analysis).
• Understanding of cloud costs or strong learning mindset.
• Experience in large, complex matrix organisations or global tech/services.
• Ability to work independently, be proactive, and structure financial data.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with central FinOps team to support Media cluster FinOps activities.
• Provide Finance execution support when capacity is limited.
• Analyse cloud spend to identify cost drivers, trends, and variances.
• Improve cost attribution through tagging and cost centre alignment.
• Work with FinOps, Tech Ops, and Global Product teams to identify and validate cloud cost optimisation opportunities.
• Define baselines, estimate savings, track delivery, and monitor optimisation risks and realised benefits.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and actuals variance tracking for Media cloud spend.
• Produce Finance-quality reporting and showback information, while maintaining documentation and audit trails in line with WPP Finance policies.
• Help refine FinOps trackers, templates, and ways of working across Finance, FinOps, and Technology.
