WSP in Bogotá, Colombia seeks a Civil Engineering-in-Training to contribute to planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water, and sanitation systems. The role balances technical design with field review across the project lifecycle.

You will work with industry-leading professionals, preparing drawings, performing analyses, and compiling reports to support approvals and construction. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of municipal engineering design principles including grading, stormwater, water distribution, and sanitary systems.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, profiles, and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D for municipal infrastructure projects.
• Perform hydraulic, stormwater management, grading, and earthwork calculations to support project design and delivery.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering reports, technical memoranda, and permit applications for municipal and regulatory approvals.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, contractors, and senior engineers to advance projects from concept through construction.
• Conduct field reviews and site inspections to verify construction compliance with approved drawings and standards.
• Document site progress, observations, and deficiencies through field reports and photographs.
• Witness and record QA testing activities such as soil compaction and concrete testing.
• Support development of sustainable and resilient infrastructure for communities.
