EPAM Systems is seeking a Chief Full-Stack Developer with Java and GCP to lead backend and frontend delivery for complex commerce platforms. You will guide architectural decisions and mentor cross‑functional teams across geographies.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure services, AI-enabled checkout workflows, and collaboration with US-Pacific aligned stakeholders. Fluency in English and strong leadership are essential.

Formación

• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading and managing teams.
• Solid backend development background with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven production experience building Front-End components using React.JS.
• Familiarity with Anthropic Claude Code.
• Skilled in building REST APIs and microservices.
• Exposure to AI-assisted or agent-based workflows and backend integrations.
• Cloud experience with GCP and/or Azure.
• Availability to work with overlapping hours in US Pacific Time.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain backend services supporting payment, loyalty, promotion, and other commerce domain systems
• Facilitate AI-driven checkout flows equipped with appropriate validations and safeguards
• Guarantee scalability, reliability, and compliance across all systems
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to shape technical solutions that support business objectives
• Take part in code reviews to uphold strong standards for quality, performance, and security
• Help shape architectural decisions that promote long-term system growth and stability
• Identify and resolve intricate production issues promptly
• Guide team members and support their ongoing technical growth
